축제를 한층 더 재밌게 보낼 수 있는 체험 부스들이 많았는데요, 그중 몇 가지를 소개해드리려고 합니다.
첫 번째는 심폐소생술 체험인데요, 많은 분들이 심폐소생술 하는 법의 이론은 많이 알고 있습니다. 하지만 평소 학교 교육들을 제외하곤 심폐소생술을 직접 해볼 기회가 많이 없습니다. 만일의 상황을 대비하여 심폐소생술을 직접 몸으로 느끼며 하는 방법에 대해 알아가보는 체험이 되었습니다. 체험에 참여하신 분들 중 한분은 “머리로는 알고 있었는데 직접 경험해보니 생각보다 어렵고 힘이 많이 들어가서 힘들었다”, “ 혹시나 모를 사태를 대비해 필요한 체험이다” 라고 하시며 체험의 소감을 말씀해주셨습니다.
다음으로는 고구마 수확 체험으로 직접 밭에서 고구마를 수확하여 자신이 수확한 고구마를 챙겨갈 수 있는 체험 부스가 있었습니다. 직접 밭에서 흙을 파헤치며 고구마를 발견하고 발견한 고구마를 캐는 과정은 아이들에게 큰 인기와 흥미를 끌어 인기가 많은 부스 중 하나가 되었습니다. 이러한 과정을 겪어보는 것은 드문 기회이므로 많은 아이들이 참여하여 자연을 느끼고 농작물을 수확함으로 생명 축제의 취지에 대해서도 알아가는 시간을 가졌습니다. 축제의 목적을 몸으로 느낄 수 있는 체험이였습니다.
이외에도 페이스페인팅, 유리 공예 체험, 갈대 호드기만들기 등의 여러 체험 부스들이 운영되어 많은 사람들이 축제를 즐기고 갔습니다. 이번 축제를 즐기지 못하신 분들은 내년에 있을 청원 생명 축제를 기대해주시기 바랍니다!
